MIU offers two structured admission pathways — Standard Enrollment for conventional applicants, and Scholarship Admission for eligible exceptional candidates. Both pathways are available at EQF Levels 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Professional Diploma level — ideal for candidates with vocational or short-cycle higher education background.
Undergraduate recognition — for candidates with professional qualifications or bachelor-equivalent experience.
Graduate-level recognition — for experienced professionals seeking master-equivalent qualifications.
Doctoral recognition — for senior researchers and professionals with extensive published or applied work.
Scholarship admission at MIU requires applicants to meet all standard admission criteria plus additional requirements demonstrating exceptional academic excellence, professional achievement, leadership capability, or humanitarian circumstances. Scholarship awards are competitive and subject to availability.

Gather all required documents as listed for your level and pathway. Ensure academic documents are officially translated and certified. Translations must be completed by a sworn translator.
Complete the MIU online application form. Upload all supporting documents in PDF format. Pay the non-refundable application processing fee.
The MIU Admissions Office reviews your application within 10–15 working days. You may be contacted for additional information or clarification.
Some programs require a competency assessment, professional interview, or portfolio review conducted by subject-matter experts from the MIU Academic Board.
You will receive a formal decision letter. Successful applicants receive a conditional or unconditional offer. Accept the offer and complete enrollment formalities to secure your place.
Yes. MIU's Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway allows experienced professionals without formal degrees to apply based on documented professional experience, skills portfolios, and competency assessments. This is particularly relevant for EQF Level 5 and 6 applications.
Minimum English proficiency varies by level. EQF Level 5 requires IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 65+. EQF Levels 6–7 require IELTS 6.0–6.5+ or TOEFL 79–90+. EQF Level 8 requires IELTS 7.0+ or TOEFL 100+. Candidates from English-medium institutions or native English speakers may be exempt.
Yes. MIU has specific expertise in evaluating academic credentials from Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian and Middle Eastern countries. All documents must be officially translated into English and certified.
Standard applications are reviewed within 10–15 working days after submission of complete documents. Applications requiring Academic Board review or competency assessment may take 3–4 weeks. Scholarship applications may require additional time.
A professional or academic interview is required for EQF Level 7 and 8 applications, and for some scholarship tracks. For EQF Level 5–6, an interview may be requested at the discretion of the assessor. Interviews are conducted online via video call.
No. You must choose one admission pathway per application cycle. If your scholarship application is unsuccessful, you may reapply under the standard admission pathway in the next cycle.
All non-English documents must be accompanied by a certified English translation completed by a sworn/accredited translator. MIU accepts Arabic, Persian, French, Spanish, Russian, German, and other major language source documents with certified translations.
