Choose Your Admission Pathway

MIU offers two structured admission pathways — Standard Enrollment for conventional applicants, and Scholarship Admission for eligible exceptional candidates. Both pathways are available at EQF Levels 5, 6, 7, and 8.

EQF Level 5

Advanced Diploma

Professional Diploma level — ideal for candidates with vocational or short-cycle higher education background.

EQF Level 6

Bachelor Equivalent

Undergraduate recognition — for candidates with professional qualifications or bachelor-equivalent experience.

EQF Level 7

Master Equivalent

Graduate-level recognition — for experienced professionals seeking master-equivalent qualifications.

EQF Level 8

Doctorate Equivalent

Doctoral recognition — for senior researchers and professionals with extensive published or applied work.

Standard Admission

EQF Level 5 — Advanced Diploma

Entry Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma (High School Certificate) or equivalent national qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant vocational or professional experience
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL iBT 65+ (or equivalent)
  • Completed MIU application form with all supporting documents
  • Personal statement outlining professional background and learning objectives (min. 400 words)
  • One professional or academic reference letter
  • No minimum age requirement; open to all adults with eligible qualifications

Standard Admission

EQF Level 6 — Bachelor Equivalent

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a nationally or internationally recognized university OR equivalent EQF Level 5 qualification with significant professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the target discipline
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL iBT 79+
  • Personal statement (600–1,000 words) describing professional competencies and academic goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the chosen field through professional portfolios, projects, or publications
  • Two reference letters (at least one from a professional superior or academic institution)
  • Candidates may be invited for a competency assessment interview

EQF Level 7 — Master Equivalent

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (EQF Level 6 or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional experience at management or specialist level
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL iBT 90+
  • Comprehensive professional portfolio demonstrating leadership, strategic thinking, and advanced competencies
  • Personal statement (800–1,200 words) — must address professional achievements, research interests, and program rationale
  • Two reference letters from senior academic or professional contacts
  • Evidence of project management, supervisory, or specialist technical experience
  • Competency assessment may include a written or oral interview with subject-matter expert

EQF Level 8 — Doctorate Equivalent

Entry Requirements

  • Master's degree (EQF Level 7 or equivalent) from an internationally recognized institution
  • Minimum 10 years of senior professional, research, or academic experience at a specialist or executive level
  • Substantial documented research output: peer-reviewed publications, monographs, patents, or applied research with demonstrable impact
  • English language proficiency: IELTS 7.0+ or TOEFL iBT 100+
  • A structured academic portfolio documenting research contributions, innovations, or sector leadership
  • Detailed research or professional development statement (1,500–2,500 words)
  • Three high-level reference letters (from professors, senior executives, or institutional leaders)
  • Mandatory expert review or oral examination by the MIU Academic Board
  • Candidate must demonstrate original intellectual or practical contributions to their field

Application Process

Follow these steps to complete your MIU admission application successfully.

Step 01

Choose Your Program & Level

Review the MIU programs page and identify the EQF level that matches your academic and professional background. Contact admissions if you need guidance.

Step 02

Prepare Your Documents

Gather all required documents as listed for your level and pathway. Ensure academic documents are officially translated and certified. Translations must be completed by a sworn translator.

Step 03

Submit Online Application

Complete the MIU online application form. Upload all supporting documents in PDF format. Pay the non-refundable application processing fee.

Step 04

Application Review

The MIU Admissions Office reviews your application within 10–15 working days. You may be contacted for additional information or clarification.

Step 05

Assessment (if required)

Some programs require a competency assessment, professional interview, or portfolio review conducted by subject-matter experts from the MIU Academic Board.

Step 06

Decision & Enrollment

You will receive a formal decision letter. Successful applicants receive a conditional or unconditional offer. Accept the offer and complete enrollment formalities to secure your place.
